Jaxicloud Fleet Management Solution with
Unique EBS Bluetooth Tracking Device for Monitoring Cooling and Heating:
We have developed an advanced solution based on our unique EBS Bluetooth tracking device, which enables efficient monitoring of both cooling and heating. This device is designed to accurately monitor temperature conditions in real time, ensuring optimal operation and prevention of potential problems.
Our EBS unit uses Bluetooth technology, which makes it wireless and easy to install in different environments. It is ideal for monitoring in refrigeration plants, heating systems or any other application where temperature control is critical. With integrated data collection and analysis capabilities, the user can access detailed reports and alerts, enabling quick response to anomalies.
In addition, the device can be easily integrated into existing systems, which ensures a problem-free implementation without the need for extensive adaptations. Our solution also supports scalability, meaning more devices can be added to the system as needed, giving full control over multiple locations.
In summary, our EBS Bluetooth tracking device provides a reliable and innovative way to ensure optimal temperature control in both cooling and heating applications, resulting in better efficiency and reduced risk of operational disruptions.

Additional sensors
It is now common practice to install temperature sensors (loggers) that collect temperature and humidity data to control cooling units. EU-based company that uses door opening sensors that make it possible to determine the cause of temperature violations and prevent theft. Changes to sensor values and event locations are displayed in reports, while alerts are sent immediately. Sensor values are stored in the logger memory and reflected on special displays. To make data available in a tracking system, the memory module must be connected to a computer. It should be noted that not all systems can handle the analysis of large amounts of data, since in order to define the relationship between door opening and temperature variations, all parameters must be displayed in a single time period. The main disadvantage of the approach is the complexity of the installation (installation of long cables throughout the trailer and truck). Furthermore, each sensor records only one parameter at one point. To build a complete picture, a large number of sensors are required, making the installation process both time-consuming and expensive. To avoid the disadvantages, wireless sensors have been implemented, making temperature monitoring more accessible.
Refrigeration unit receivers
Some refrigerated vans are supplemented with recorders (retranslators). The devices collect cooling unit data from temperature and door opening sensors and use automotive controllers to transmit data to a tracking system to detect and predict critical variations. Recorders can either be pre-installed or purchased later, with Euroscan, DataCold and i-Box being the most well-established. The Wialon system provides a coordinator with comprehensive information about environmental changes throughout the trip.
Outside temperature;
Specified load temperature (actual vs. required);
Mode of operation (continuous, automatic, defrost);
Engine hours and engine hours; Diagnostic data.
Recently, Jaxicloud Fleet Management presented an efficient combination of Carrier cooling units and DataCold recorders. Thus, users acquire the following data: temperature (tables and charts for any time period, online/SMS/email messages, device tooltips);
refrigerator status (reports on on/off times and locations);
The main advantage of the solution is the completeness of the data obtained , as certain data cannot be acquired only with separate sensors. Secondly, it does not require time-consuming installation of sensors. However, the solution is quite expensive and not all types of GPS trackers are supported. For example, JaxiCloud Fleet Management devices read data from i-Box, DataCold, Euroscan recorders (for Thermo King, Carrier, Mitsubishi, Lumikko refrigerators), Jaxicloud Fleet Management works with i-Box and Euroscan (for ThermoKing, Optitemp and Carrier -refrigerators). So what really needs to be considered is the choice of equipment.
iQFreeze solution
Recently, Quarta Technologies has released iQFreeze as an innovative solution for managing refrigeration units that includes iQFreeze built-in adapter recorders as a core component. The use of this component makes it possible to transfer data to the system directly from the cooling unit controller, without CAN and RS-232. The iQFreeze solution is integrated with the Jaxicloud Fleet Management system, enabling the shipper to analyze information about the condition of the cargo in real time:
Reports (actual vs. required temperature, location and door open duration);
Charts (visualization of temperature data);
In addition, iQFreeze alerts drivers with audio and visual messages via the iQFreeze mobile application . Currently, the combination of iQFreeze and Jaxicloud Fleet Management is used for ThermoKing, Carrier and Zanotti refrigerators and proved to be cheaper to install and maintain loggers/recorders, making refrigerated transport cost effective. With multiple ways of temperature management, the Jaxicloud Fleet Management system is expected to bring significant benefits to all parties involved in transportation. Customers are always sure that the cargo will be delivered in full and on time. Carriers immediately address violations of transportation conditions, unauthorized shutdown of refrigeration unit, minimizing the likelihood of cargo spoilage. Finally, buyers never experience interruptions in deliveries of high-quality products. English localization is coming so very soon our partners from the international region can benefit from the solution! Each approach has its own advantages and disadvantages. In most cases, the choice is determined by specific purposes. The need for temperature control is proven and Wialon makes it available.
