Jaxicloud Fleet Management now developed the function for remote data transfer from tachographs to
Jaxicloud Fleet Management. A step further was the development of other 2 tools, aimed at
improve the work of integrators within one system
Tacho Manager app
Jaxicloud Fleet Management customers can now enjoy the benefits of the Tacho Manager app, which brings new benefits to the work of operators in international trucking and freight business. The application shows activity for each available trip, such as distance, speed and driving times and rest periods for the driver, these files are parsed and linked to drivers in Jaxicloud Fleet Management and can be uploaded manually via Tacho Manager.
The files are automatically uploaded via the GPS tracker. This new tool is now supported by several devices, including the controllers from ITD, and several others. Files are saved and uploaded by the Disketta application. The program interface has been simplified to the download bar and the list of files to help the sender with relevant information.
Tacho View ‒ towards improved data analysis
After taking into account the AETR and EU specifications, Gurtam has released another app called Tacho View , which will be based on specifications for international road transport standards. Tacho View processes data received from tachograph files. It allows reflecting the driver's activity based on a so-called "timeline" for better visual analysis. The app displays driving times and rest times for the registered driver. You can use a calendar (on the right side) to select the required date. The calendar can also be scaled as needed.
The entries are evaluated in the following way: • “Driver activity” . The information is displayed in a table. By selecting the required date, the user can see the detailed driver activity over the specified period. • “Activity chart” . The selected period is divided into days, where the information is displayed in charts (markers correlate with certain activity characteristics).
The entries can be printed in the form of a report directly from the app. In the near future, Tacho View will include specifications for all countries where tachograph regulations are present. And as manufacturers improve their technologies every year by making tachographs easier to use, we hope that our contribution stimulates practice and guarantees fair competition and international road safety.
