Additional sensors
It is now common practice to install temperature sensors (loggers) that collect data on temperature and humidity to control refrigeration units. The devices collect data on refrigeration units from temperature and door opening sensors and use vehicle controllers to transmit data to a tracking system to detect and predict critical variations. Recorders can either be pre-installed or purchased later, with Euroscan, DataCold and i-Box being the most well-established. The Wialon system provides a coordinator with comprehensive information on environmental changes throughout the trip.
